About
Emma Murray is a Contemporary Pop singer/songwriter from western Massachusetts. Emma loves writing music about the observations of everyday life, and believes the best songs are written from the core of the heart, stripping perceptions and pressures from society and keeping it real.
A classically trained pianist, Emma started writing songs as a teenager and began to play the open mic circuit in her hometown, which solidified her love for music and ambition to pursue a career as a performing singer/songwriter. Emma is a relationship builder at heart and has enjoyed attending multiple music conferences over the years to keep growing and developing her craft.
Currently collaborating with a team at Northfire Recording Studio in Amherst, Mass., Emma released her debut single in 2023, titled "Day by Day". Additionally, Emma is actively seeking out opportunities to pitch her music, including Film, TV, and artist placements.
Emma’s first artist placement is the song "Rise Together" performed by Lisa Yves and co-written with Ken Marcou released in March 2021 after debuting on the United Kingdom online radio station, Reach OnAir. The song was debuted on the UK radio station "Reach OnAir" in March 2021. Ricky Kej, 2X Grammy winner, praised the song: “‘Rise Together’ - the most appropriate song for support and solidarity in the times we live in, complete with the necessary motivation, a leg-up to move on, no matter what. Great arrangement and rendition! Superb.”
In her spare time, Emma loves the ocean and getting outdoors, and is staying busy working on her next batch of songs at the moment, plus booking upcoming shows.
